Infraction-trigger-happy
Someone please enlighten me as to why I was given an infraction for the comment:

Is anyone offended by that at all?
I'd put good money on this thread being deleted, too.

Wow! What's TF falling down to for giving infractions like that?
I could be lectured and bashed for this post, but I've been a quiet member for over 2 years of my membership now and it's time I start stating my opinions. So, what's the deal with this?

Did you not realize Gary, a huge majority of TFL Staff are idiots?
Thank you and Good night.
* Thanks for the Infraction.

I'm not entirely sure how someone can determine action enough to warrant punishment, from two words, but that's the choice of the staff and it's done.
It would probably be better to complain (read: make heard your own views on the 'mis-punishment') directly to the person who punished you, or if you don't want to deal with them directly then some 'senior' member of staff (it's their role to manage the others, right?).
Is the punishment deserved? My own opinion would be no, but hey what does that count for?! The message posted to you by Jamie also seems a little odd given the circumstances. It clearly implies that one should post only if something interesting is being said. Arguably this very post isn't particularly interesting so maybe I shouldn't have posted it.
To address Indy's request, the message fairly clear. He didn't like the "attitude" in your post (leaving aside the vagarities of interpreting two-word posts).

Craddock, you're entitled to your opinion; however, since you don't actually know the majority of the TFL staff then I think you're a little out of line when calling them idiots. I mean, if we're idiots then you must feel much more intelligent than us. That said, you shouldn't mind sharing a copy of your high school (perhaps college?) transcript to prove your intelligence. That is if you are as smart as you let on.
As for the infraction, menial; however, I'll be standing by Jamie's decision. He must have noticed a trend in your posting performance showing an inappropriate attitude and that is why the infraction was then given. I will leave the explaining to Jamie though.
Regards,
Jeff

Read through my posts. I rarely even post on here anymore; outside of the marketplace forums.
If you think I deserve the infraction for a 6-letter sentence, so be it. Else, I'd like to request it's removed.

Reversed until I or we hear from Jamie on this one, personally I see it as the post had absolutely nothing to do with the thread.
It was spam, now he may have chose in inappropriate attitude infraction as it is worth less points. The spamming one would get you banned for a period of time.

You actually want me to prove my intelligence? LETS PLAY A WORD GAME OMG!
Honestly, how sad are you?
I've been at this community for quite a while now, I do know a fair majority of the staff here. Maybe not a lovey-dovey connection like you have but as a users point of view; I think my point wasn't out of line.

I'd say that a proportionate number of the regular members here are idiots as well. But that's just what I would say.
