Curious as to why you're marketing yourself as "just another graphic & web designer?" Not really compelling for potential clients is it?

The intended point of my tagline is actually supposed to intend sarcasm. When I actually give out business cards the first thing they point out to me is that they really like the tagline actually. But this may be because the tagline is shorted to "another graphic & web designer".

I guess that I have to try to convey this better through use of emphasis.
I would like your opinion on whether I should emphasise on the "just" or "just another" (with italics or quotation marks).
Or should I remove the "just"?
Or should I change the tagline entirely?

Thanks for your feedback.

I'm curious about actual conversions. There's a huge difference between a potential client 'liking' the tagline and hiring you. How many clients do pick up versus the number of cards you hand out? Your tagline makes you stand out a bit, but does it do it in a good way?

As a designer going on 14 years now, I wouldn't use a tagline like that. I have a certain level expertise and knowledge that is a valuable asset to my clients. A tagline like that would imply that I'm no different than the other guy/gal. Just your run-of-the-mill designer who does this only to make money. Even worse, it's what it doesn't say: that you're passionate, motivated, driven, and focused on creating the absolute best product for your clients.

I agree with Chaka on this one. To be honest "not just another web-designer" makes more sense. The sarcasm is certainly not obvious to me.

Michael thanks for the idea, that would probably work quite well, thanks for your opinion.
I've been designing for a year or so but only being to do freelance work since November.
Will make the changes soon.

I must admit that, that's one pretty impressive website. And if you had any input in the creation of that site, I will have to agree that you're really "not just another graphic and web designer". Great work!

really like the feel of the whole website, but can't help feeling that it is to big for easy reading

Might be just me tough! And nice designs you made already
