I found this site, http://moofx.mad4milk.net/#whatsnew, and wanted to know how they made that effect in the background of the lines shooting out like that. Any help is greatly appreciated...

Looks like they coloured a blank canvas with a green and took the marque tool out and made selections like shown in the design and filled with a lighter green.

I hope someone helps you out

just do the same, but delete every 2 dots from the outside, will upload in a bit if you dont get it. cheers
