Old  How much for a business site?

How much would you charge? Looking to make a business site with say 5-10 pages of information and then possibly a thousand products. Starting this from the ground up. Businesses around here charge 500 for a basic 5 page site, so I was thinking 1200 wouldn't be too far off? Thanks in advance.

Hi
Whats your currency?

In the UK, ecommerce sites start from around £800 upwards. But this is usually using a pre-made ecommerce system. If your looking to have something completely made from scratch, then you could be looking at thousands, depending on the functionality.

If you need any help, or a quote, please PM or email me (contact[at]digitaleyedesign.co.uk)

Thanks

If you're going to start your own business, then stop reading this article. Get back to work! But for the rest of you, this article will help you to figure out what your site needs and what it doesn't need to really market yourself as a Web designer. And the charges will be the cheapest only

I think it really depends on the site. If you are using a custom made cms and code everything from scrath, then it would be worth a few thousand euros/dollars
