I'll be getting one for my dad on fathers day, and I may pick one up for myself as well. Remember the whole razor craze where everybody had one? I predict this happening to the iPhone, but at a slightly smaller scale.

Chris I just called Apple. No preorders over the phone or on the website, nor will they sell the phone on the website. To get one you need to snap it up in the store on July 11th :O.

Now why are you trying to pre-order it? That is retarded. They will have more than enough, and I am sure you can pick one up at the store rather than tracking it on FedEx.com

More than enough? They have 70 countries to ship to, I don't know about more than enough.

I think you're a little over-obsessed with a barely updated phone (granted 3G is a huge leap in speed of features, but the list of added features is vastly outnumbered by the list of features missed out on).

Also, you can't say they're conquering the business market cause your parents are getting them. I honestly don't think the massive business market for smart phones will shift in apples favor.

Though I love the iPhone, I think the cult segment of consumers and the media covering the device are definitely overrating it to a certain degree.

I'ma sell my current iPhone and get this i reckon.
