Your Internet security software?
What Internet security software does everyone run?
I recieved a copy of Mcafee Internet Security Suite 2006 for Christmas, it looks pretty good and i'm going to install it later today I used to use Norton but stopped when they started charging for updates and slowing down my system.

I've been running the same stuff for the past couple of years now.
I have the windows Firewall disabled, and in it's place I run Kerio Personal Firewall (which has been absolutely great). I also use AVG Antivirus 7.1 (paid version).
I actually bought the two pieces of software in a bundle, and the cost was very reasonable. I think my subscription to AVG is running out this year, however, and I aren't sure if I will be renewing.
I don't like the fact that AVG tries to run a complete system scan every morning when I start the computer. I know I could stop it fromdoing so, but I think AVG's scanning system as a whole takes up far too much CPU, and slows things down. I may be looking for an alternative.

Depending on what CPU you have and what ghz it has it will slow it down mine runs perfect and no lag what so ever

eTrust AntiVirus, Microsoft Antispyware (and adaware, spybot etc when I can be bothered), Windows Firewall.
I'm not saying I trust the Windows Firewall. I don't much. It's just that it's a damn sight less annoying than other free ones like ZoneAlarm...

AVG Anti Virus 7.1 Pro, Lavasoft Ad-aware SE Plus, Windows Firewall. Whats the point in having all these top company security centers which pop up every 1min saying something is blocked etc

Hmmm. I use no security software, no anti-spyware, no anti-virus. Haven't for a couple years now. I think I am a little too internet 'old' to get spyware/viruses. Well I am behind a router so any attack at my IP will hit my router and stop. Never had a computer problem.

I've got ZoneAlarm Firewall, AVG, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, ad-aware, and the greatest security software of all, Firefox.

I don't run anything but AdAware periodically. I have a router so I don't see the need.
