52% isn't barely... that means McCain got 47-48%, which is several million more votes. Many elections have been much closer in popular vote.

I'm fairly confident it could have happened either way (with half of the country disagreeing with either candidate if that IS the case). However, there were also a record number of layoffs today. There is no way so many companies would be laying off employees now without planning to do so over the past couple weeks.

Don't be so quick to blame Obama.

Also, I'll apply your same logic to today. The DOW went up today, so Obama must be a great choice! ... etc.

i can be quick to judge, the poor do not have stock, the upper middle class and the upper class control the stock market, thus Obama's plan hurts THEM, thus they pull out and it effects EVERYONE. Don't be so quick to correct me when you fail to realize that hurting the rich will ruin the country.

Yes, but you keep assuming the reason why people are pulling out is just because of Obama. Please explain the previous several months where there was even one day where it dropped by over 900 points (which was a larger drop than yesterday). Obama wasn't elected then, so there has to be another factor, which could have influenced yesterdays stock market drop.

Also, if Obamas plan is so bad, please explain why many of the top economists have endorsed Obama. I can give you a link to the endorsements if you would like.

That depends on how well each party put their BS votes in. For instance, Chicago/Cook County generally puts out more votes than it's living adult population (I don't know about the 2nd grader and dead however). This gives rise to the phase: "Vote early, vote often".

Thats has nothing to do with Obama.

I just said one can not judge him since we have no base to judge him off of.

However, I hardly let freelancers who are unproven work for me. The president is a much larger office to let a rookie in on the basis that he could end up being good, but I digress.

Face it he's not going to be worse than Bush. The most unpopular president in history.

Polls mean nothing, the media beat on him for eight years. There is no way to stay popular when you have that many people lying about you every night. Don't base anything off of approval rating, Hitler was very highly approved, at first.
