Best way to advertise sports sites?

My site www.NCAAnation.net needs to get bigger. So I am going to put out money to get it advertised.. Any ideas?

Have any NCAA teams playing in your area? Print out flyer's to hand to people coming to the games and put some posters up.

It's always a possibility.
