Why do you think that? Name as in domain name and SEO. SEO is done to websites that have domains.

domain isint nice but can be made nice if you can develop it because name can't be seo but the website is optimized.

are you going to start an SEO business that specializes in getting brand names to the #1 SERP?

when you do that, and are successful at it, it wil be worth more than reg fee. If you're buying names just to try to resell at a higher price, then you're a squatter and i hate you. i hope you're at least making money from that generic landing page

Actually if you carefully read the post he seems to meant that he didnt liked the domain that much and maybe he was trying to say that if he registered to resell the domain name it isint worth of going for a high price..

Its a big "Maybe" on my comment on the brendan post!

If you develop this domain you can get most likely low - mid $xxx but i think its reg fee or a bid high atm

sort of... it's not like i like or dislike the domain, i don't think it's worth much undeveloped.. So i was saying that if he bought the domain with the sole purpose of reselling it, it's more trouble than it's worth, and he's a domain squatter.

i just think these domain appraisal threads are detrimental to the forum, as they continue to foster the belief that riches and fame are one domain registration away.. which should have died out 5 years ago.. i'll just stop posting in this section and let everyone have their fun

appraisals are meaningless most of the time. a domain is worth what an end user pays for it
