Seriously, can't believe how stupid i am. I always tell people to save their work regulary, should of taken my own advice.

I've spent the whole of today working on a design for a client, over 4 hours i've been working on it and guess what happened? My whole area had a powercut and i lost ALL of my work Ontop of that i don't think i'll have the time to finish the job in time which means i'll most likely lose the $100 i was being paid for the psd.

Learn from my mistake, if you don't save regulary then DO!

I feel your pain Bazza, always try to hit that save button as regurlarly as possible mate, guess you've learned the hard way

In some programs there is auto save option after like every 5minutes should have that with Photoshop :O.

Isnt it possible to restore files. i mean how do the police do it with pron stuff? Or would it be totally gone cos u didnt save it once?

I think because it had never been saved it wont be anywhere to be found on the hard-drive

I agree that Photoshop should have autosave! Thats something they should deffinately include. The reason i never saved this once was because i was so caught up in working on it (needed it finished today) that i just totally forgot about saving. Never gunna let that happen again.
