Basically with that comment, we were trying to take a light hearted approach. The general look of most companies is pretty corporate, and we were trying to show a bit of our fun site. Also by referencing a member of the staff, it shows that there's actually people behind the name.

With that being said, we'll take your comments into consideration.

Thanks!

Pure speculation, to be honest. The image serves the dual purpose of illustrating our attitude and approach to business, which is essentially a personal and human approach to things, and also our familiarity with the market we're in. I think pretty much everyone can relate to at least receiving one viagra spam e-mail during their Internet life-cycle, right? That's the point

Clearly it's not to everyones taste, but our experience is that it's certainly not a deal breaker by any means. Companies have and will continue to buy hosting with us, because hosting is more than just a header image after all.

As for the comments about the contact page, we've actually had around 10 e-mails or so from people saying they found it amusing, and it's nice to see such a laid back approach to business. Those people also went on to become clients of ours. Unfortunately, a sense of humour isn't included with our packages
I just hate to see another TFL host move over to the overselling crew.. smh

We're not overselling, but thanks for your concern.

To be honest, I don't care what you believe. You seem to want to turn this thread into some this* bashing scenario, merely because you have a rival host and clearly find our changes very competitive to your business. Please take the high road here, because I'm not taking the bait.

The bottom line is that we don't oversell. Never have done, never will. Our customers can vouch for this(*)

There is nothing about being a rival host and having to compete with anyone.

I don't have to lower my standards to gain business. Trust me, look at your Ultra Plan and you can say you guys don't oversell? You are selling 1.2TB of bandwidth for $20 a month? When most dedicated servers sell for $150 a month with 1.5TB of bandwidth? Hmm.. interesting.. Try reading some articles on overselling buddy.

Good luck with that.

I've actually written articles on overselling and how bad it is. Trust me, I know what i'm talking about here.

Fact is you're wrong, we don't oversell at all. We have our own 100mbit ports so we don't pay per GB of bandwidth like some of the hosts out there. We have clients who regularly pull close to 1TB per month, so it has been done, and will continue to be done. Next?

If you have written articles on overselling, then you should go revise them.

Post your plans in the Web Hosting forum on WebHostingTalk, and ask people if you are overselling, LOL.. smh

Competition brings out the best in us.
