  Old  Microsoft Money or Quicken...

Hi guys & gals,

I was looking into purchasing either "Microsoft Money Home & Business 2005" or "Quicken 2005 Premier Home & Business". Input on either of these if you have it, especially Money. I know they are basically the same; I would just like some feedback.

Thanks,
Rocko

I have briefly used both of them in the past. For some reason Quicken seemed to be much easier and better than Money. I could be wrong about this as it was a little while ago.

If you'd rather not pay for one or the other, there are several free money tools available...

Really? I'm always up for "Free". Do they have similar features? Mostly, creating invoices/estimates, taxes, expenses, etc... What are they?

I still want to hear feedback about the other products mentioned.

From Freeware Files, a great site I've just recently found:
http://www.freewarefiles.com/cat_8_78_Accounting.html
http://www.freewarefiles.com/cat_8_8...l-Finance.html

It has two categories, accounting and personal finance, depending on if you're doing business or personal financing and money "stuff" Hope you can find what you need, for free, which is what I usuallly try to do

I use Quicken but have never used MS Money (they already have enough of my money). Quicken is solid. Especially the real time electronic interface with my bank, constant updates and improvements, and fast support. They've been doing it for a long time and the software is inexpensive to boot.
