I am surprised day by day how much kiddies in general likes Apple stuff. I might get one too if the UK price is fair as US price.

Yea. Sadly they only make a batch every couple months, so it's uncertain when it will show up.

I was a little skeptical about the iPad when it came out. But when I finally used one for quite some time, it completely changed my mind. I'm currently saving up for one of my own...

Honestly you will never realize how amazing this gadget is until you try it out for yourself. Initially my thoughts were similar to most of you "Who needs one of these? They do the same thing as the iPhone and laptops" but the size is just perfect for traveling if you do not want to bring your laptop, and the applications/browsing and itunes on it is simply stunning!
I don't have one and wont get one until the price drops, but it is a fantastic little invention from Apple.

Do you expect Apple to drop prices on their products? Good luck. 
Jobs will add a camera for 2nd generation iPad, sell it again for premium, then will add a front facing camera, sell it again, then will improve the camera, sell it, then make a real leap in technology and make their cameras 5 mega pixels, then rip the premiums yet again, and so on, until every step of improvement maximizes Apple revenue. I do not foresee Apple products costing any less in the future, unless you are buying a used device.
