- $100.00 Discount
Hello -
My tennis pro is the best guy ever he has hooked me up with many jobs... he treats me really well... I am currently doing his website.. Total is $375 I gave him a $100 discount because he ha been so nice and he has been in bead and unable to walk or get up because he has a herniated disk in his back and is having major back surgery... He has been nice and I am returning the favor...
Am I doing the right thing by taking $100 off? I charge $25.00 hr for Web Development and spent a total of 15 hours on this project...
What do you think?

Nothing wrong with that, but it is business, and technically you shouldn't be giving discounts for how nice someone is, but rather if they're a previous client and such. Just remember, you can't give everyone a discount who is nice

You can give your close friend a discount, but I would not recommend giving random strangers discounts just because there nice.

Ya I know, I was then just pointing out if he ever wanted to give a discount to a stranger not to really do it.
