This is a stupid thread. If they're malfunctioning it's probably because you're configuring them wrong.

XAMMP and WAMP both just wrap a Apache/MySQL/PHP/etc. stack together. There's not really much to them. If you want, in my opinion, "the best one ever" then you would install each service separately and configure it precisely how you want it.

Of those types of programs for windows, you may well be using "the best one ever" already.

i have tow buttons the first one is
START MYSQL

the second one is
START apache

while i click on
START MYSQL beside it i get " MYSQL RUNNING "

and then ofcourse i have to START THE APACHE by clicking on the button
so i click on it...
and the MYSQL RUNNING witch's was running from the begging it's gone all by it self cuz i started the apache.

and i got beside the apache
" APACHE RUNNING "

so now sql stopped and apache working if i do the opposite it's also the same i meant by the opposite that i start apache and then the sql it's the same problem

the problem is that i need to start both of them witch's mean make them both RUNNING to start working with them.
i don't got any errors just what i've told you

note " my operating system is windows 7 32bit "

ohh and I've used wamp for a looot of time and it's working pretty well but the problem when i started learning php and sql i have to look on the internet for some simple scripts and when i put them in www folder and start them verrrry normally i got an errors a lot of errors that why i decided to move on with xampp so i have met the problem what i was just tellin you about.

My suggestion is to compile your apache with source code by yourself.

You installed both xampp and wamp? It may be a case of both trying to use the same ports. Configure it so that they both use different ports for apache/mysql or uninstall one.

I use AppServ ( http://www.appservnetwork.com/ ) and for portable one I use Server2Go ( http://www.server2go-web.de/ ) and have no problem at all compared when I used Xampp or WAMP !
Try ...
