Old  How do you qualify a Web 2.0 website?

How do you qualify a Web 2.0 website? What are musts in Web 2.0? I ask because I want to build something for the community and it should definitely fall into the Web 2.0 categorization. Thanks in advance.

I see two classifications:
1. The gimmick
This is hard to define since almost everything has become it for the sake of making people feel like they are going to see something new. If you have moving parts and valid XHTML, it fits the gimmick section of web 2.0. This is just a fad that will eventually die.

2. The real definition of web 2.0
The real definition does not rely off of design or technologies. The idea of web 2.0 isn't really anything too new, it is the idea that people communicate with people opposed to just going to see content. I personally do not think it deserves a new definition since the idea has been around for a very long time, it has just become big with the internet in recent years.

Using the term web 2.0 is nothing more than a gimmick in my opinion. Much like e-product was in the 90's and i-product is now, it will go away soon. A forum, no matter how simple, is in essence web 2.0.
