Rules update!
Hi everyone,
In order to continue improving the community i've added a few new rules, please read over them http://www.talkfreelance.com/rules.php
In the main, advertising is now permitted to one advert per every 7 days (or week). We will no longer allow members to post a link to an external site where they are advertising a contest/template etc, you must post the information within Talkfreelance. Finally, we no longer permit advertisements of forums in other offers/requests.
Regards.

Good job you posted, many people would have missed the new rules (including myself)

Members may not criticize or pass comment on another user's advertisement.
Members may not post a link to their web site where more information about your offer is displayed.

Ok, first one. You may not post negative comments on a user's advertisement. Second one, you cannot post a link to another site or post in another forum that lists your offer. I have seen people simply link to their advert on a third party site rather than post it directly into Talkfreelance.

Why can't a user post negative comments on an advertisement?
I think that would rather benfit the community more, to inform.

As long as it's constructive.
Great rules though.

Unless the thread starter asks for comments then none should be given, it's not fair to ruin their chance of selling their work regardless if you think you can help them.
