Wordpress thumbs

I need a script for creating thumbnails in wordpress that will do a few things.

1: Work on both Wordpress and Wordpress:MS.

2: Give a url of a default image if no attachment is found.

3: Grab the first attached image of a post.

4: Be able to place code in functions.php and use php tags thoughout the theme. This will require the code not to give a error when being used over and over.

5: Must be able to define image sizes though each php call tag.

Will be more than willing to pay for a script doing this.

Anyone?

Just going out on a limb here. Have you tried turning post thumbnails on?

I'm thinking on my feet, but yes even if that doesn't fullfil all his requirements a derivative will.

Im pretty sure i said i need a script to do this, which means i cant use wordpress thumbs.

already looked in codex, has well has post this job on a few sites... for over a few months now. So far nothing.

still need this job completed please someone.

Try looking for thumbnail plugins.

OMG i cant make my bio more clear i need a script to do this. I CAN NOT USE PLUGINS for this project. If you are not here for the job i posted please dont post. i hate to be mean like this but this is just silly.

PS the plugin link you gave will do none of the things i posted above so why post it? Has this forum really got this useless?
