Old  How do you work? From home or office?

In our line of business we all work in different environments, i'm currently in the process of converting my bedroom into an office of sorts for when I graduate in July and turn my attention to full time online business.

My current setup comprises of a smallish desk/printer/computer (obviously), a loverly bin, a whiteboard (which is a new addition to the room) and a water dispenser....every office needs one! I also have some mood lighting rigged up which is ideal for the evening shifts.

I think working environments are ever so important, even putting a shirt on can increase your work rate.

So I guess i'm sort of in the middle!

I currently work from my bedroom... which has it's advantages as well as it's disadvantages.

Advantages:

- I have everything I need (perhaps a little more than I need)
- It doesn't cost me hundreds of pounds per month in rent (£40, to be precise)
- I don't have to travel to and from the office every day
- It's comfortable

Disadvantages

- It's comfortable (yes, this is a disadvantage as well as an advantage)).
- Concentration can easily be broken by other people living here (family)

My work area consists of a desk, computer, two printers (one mono laser, and one colour inkjet), and usually a scanner, but my brother has 'borrowed' it. I'm thinking of purchasing a new multifuction inkjet printer/scanner/copier to replace my current inkjet. I'm also considering purchasing a VoIP telephone (a physical handset) to use with the sipgate service, and this will be the phone I primarily use for communicating with my customers.

Bedroom aswell but it can have some advantages and dissadvatages aswell next year im hoping to invest in these things for my room:

Mini fridge (A worker needs some food espeshilly when you need a quick snack when your in the middle of a project or meeting with a client)
New bin (mines nearly destroyed)
New work area (currently cramped and a mess)
New lighting (mines to bright espeshily when you need the lighting to be dim when you need to set the mood for a night in if you know what i mean)
New carpet (possable laminate)
Storage and lots of it (got a lot of cds, paperwork, schoolwork and computer parts laying around my room).

Well i think thats all the stuff i need next year

I currently work out in the loungeroom. I wouldn't really call it working as I am not really focusing on it. I focus more on my schoolwork then on making sites which make money or designs/coding. I am thinking about going into such a business but am having doubts. I have a lot of things that I can't mention (mainly because I live in a family and everything is shared)
