Local Business

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to how Google selects the sites that are listed first under Local business results when you do a search.
It seems really random, i see my sites change from 1° to 15° without any reason and i can't fid any info about it.

I think that google as any other SE is global thing and it can be considered as local
