Drupal
Advantages
  • Very clean core code.
  • Good project leadership from Acquia.
  • Can be made very server efficient in the right hands (scaleable).

Disadvantages
  • Less ready made drop-in plugins.
  • More imposing default user interface.

Joomla
Advantages
  • Good menu system.
  • Strong static page structure.
  • Built-in membership/community features.
  • Long time on the market.

Disadvantages
  • Built-in performance pretty sluggish/clunky.
  • Horrid built-in URLs.
  • Weak weblog section.
  • Hard to theme.
  • Nasty core code. Very difficult to fix broken items.
  • Fractured community.
  • Most good plugins are paid.

Thanks for the solution. But there is always a competition between the Joomla and Drupal.Basically there is no straight cut or sticky difference between them. When we are working with some software, within some days we became used to with it.So, the other language seems difficult for us.The coding structure of Joomla is difficult than the Drupal. So, designing a site according to your wish is becoming very difficult with Joomla. But its very easy with Drupal.

Drupal is much more flexible when it comes to the development and setting up the theme and layout of the website. Joomla! is known to be surrounded by the paradigms set by itself, and offers less scope to be flexible.
