I'm launching a website and need a forum for it - a free forum

Maybephpbb - Obvously Invision is great and Neowin's forum is nice but I don't want to pay when I can get say phpbb for free - if there is another forum you know please feel free to say

I need a forum skinned - phpbb may be the best - I need it skinned nicely with a nice look - not just colors but with a bit of quality too

If you can do this, pm me with an average quote

Thnx

Hello Melanie, my names Russ, I've been coding phpBB templates for quite some time now. You can view some of my work over at

http://www.phpbbstop.com/portfolio/select_style.php

I do not design full forum skins, however, if you have a website, I can most definately match it with a forum skin! My prices start at about 50$ for a custom template coding job. If you need the forum designed as well, it will be an additional price. If you'd like, contact me via contacts in my profile, and we can discuss your website, and how to get you up and running in no time with a brand new phpBB forum skin!

Sorry to take this slightly off-topic, but with forum software, you get what you pay for. It could mean the difference between the success and failure of your forum.
I know personally I wouldn't generally join a phpBB forum, because it seems like the owner hasn't invested any money into it, therefore isn't bothered about it.

If you really do have to use free software, use SMF. But as I say, with all free forum softwares there's usually a lot of security holes.

Best of luck.
