The Won Li Dojo?
Well it seems that Lee Dodd has started up another community. For those that don't know who Lee Dodd is, he makes lots and lots of money developing websites. (mainly forums).
Anyways, he just started up a private community which is at: http://wonlidojo.com (only 250 people total can join). It's for forum owners looking to better their forums.
It costs $15 a month, but you get a private podcast, group phone call, forum, and he'll be giving away prizes and stuff.
Anyways, I though you should know, as I've found it very useful.
Oh, and if you're feeling generous, I would love you if you put " digit" as your referral, but that's definitely optional.
For those not looking to pay, you can listen to a free podcast at http://forumtrends.com

The great thing about having a reputation like his is, that even if this forum is worthless (which it probably is) all his "fans" will join and he'll make $3,750/month. I mean come on, what's so special about that forum? I'm sure you can find just as much information over at www.theadminzone.com without even spending a penny. Sure he has a bunch of forums and has made alot of money, but knowledge is free and it's everywhere....don't fall for it.

Well, at this point, I agree with you. It all depends on what they do with it.
It's $15, I couldn't care less. I don't even own a forum.

Yeah, so basically it proves my point....you don't even have a forum yet you joined and paid the money.

I registered just out of curiousity and Robson hit it on the head. I actually was talking with Digit, and mentioned my hesitation at "following" the Lee clan, but now that I joined, unless some seriously useful info comes up that earns me the 15.00 a month for the membership, I'll be cancelling it at the end of my first month.
So far, the forum appears to be a place to discuss Lees podcast, and nothing more. I could understand if Lee decided to make his Podcast private and require a subscription, but seeing that it's still being presented on his blog, I'm not sure what the content of the new forum is going to be.
The upside is, you can earn $10.00 per referal, so you could litterally pay your membership on referals, at least for a few months to see if you benefit from it.

Yea, there is no point in denying it. I'm not ashamed of it.
I happen to enjoy Lee's podcast, whether it's free or not is not a big deal to me.

I wanted to see what the secret podcast/phone call was all about. If I risk a measly $15 to see, then so be it. The reason that this forum costs money, is he only wants people dedicated...it weeds out the average joe. (plus of course it makes him a bit)

"A measly $400"... I think you should rethink just how much cash that is.
I'm with Mark on this. I've signed up, but if I think it's not worth it, I'm cancelling after the first month.

Wow, I meant to say $15...not sure why I said $400. Anyways, the podcast hasn't even stared, so it seems everyone is a bit quick to judge.
