Old  Coding help - Should be simple

Hello, I need help with some minor coding.

Right now, I have my footer on my site coded fine, but I want to make it so I don't have to go to each individual page to change each thing (like the year of copyright). I want to be able to edit ONE file and save that to my website, and it updates all of the pages simultaneously.

I think you know what I'm talking about. Please help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

You'll be looking for PHP's includes. Split the files into header/content/footer or something and then instead of having the actual html for the footer you'd go <?php include('footer.html'); ?>

Obviously you would have to change the file names extension to PHP.
