Not mine, but the horse Barbaro.

If anyone watched the Kentucky Derby, Barbaro won by 6 1/2 lengths.

He broke 3 bones in the Preakness about 100 yards into the start.

He had surgery and was recovering well until he caught an infection in his recovering leg, which then resulted in uneven balance and his foot is not being protruded by his leg bones. Which is considered fatal in a horse.
