Cant you ask the seller if you can pay for it monthly ? :P
The seller is only 18, and paying £800 / yr for insurance, so obviously expecting it to be atleast £900 / yr for me. But i will also choose to pay that monthly. If i could pay monthly i would of got the car by now but he wants the cash up front so he can get his VTR

cheers anyway,

any other suggestions?

I was quoted £1800~ per year on Confused.com for a 1.1 Saxo. So you're looking at a lot more than £900...

No chance of getting insurance for that.

Well... unless you have a fair bit of cash.

I heard even if you had the most cash, you couldn't get insured on some cars

Nope. My friend just brought a 1.1 Saxo and got it insured for £900 / yr

I'll get the specific price later.

Maybe you entered incorrect data? You don't even know the specs of the car. I will try and see what i get, maybe you are right, but again, i don't mind paying that / yr for insurance.

I'm not asking "US" i'm asking for specific websites that can provide loans to under 18s.

I disagree. NEVER loan or be loaned money with friends or family, its always a bad idea.

No one will give a loan to you because your signature means nothing. You must to do it through your parents.

Yes.

And the reason your friend most likely got it insured for £900 is either:

1. He's insured under his mum/dad's name.
2. He's only on 3rd Party Insurance.

My fiat cinquecento would have been £1400 on my own, 3rd Party. Thats only 899cc.

2 years on, I have a 1litre Corsa Full insurance, which is £1000....and thats with a years no claims and a clean/full driving license.
