  Old  Flock a cheap ripoff.

This new flock browser is nothing but a slightly prettified version of firefox with an autoblogging tool added. the structure of the menus, alert boxes etc is the same, and strangely enough, if you go c:\documents and settings\(username)\application data\Mozilla\ which is where all your Firefox details are kept, there's a folder there for flock (which is strangely enough not made by mozilla yet it's in the Mozilla folder anyway) with an identical folder structure inside it.

Well it is built off the FireFox source, so it's to be expected

I havn't tried flock myself yet, mainly because FireFox is good enough (for me) as it is.

It's just a cool intergration of delicious and firefox and some other stuff, getting things ready for Web 2.0. Everything you can do with flock you could already do with FF and some plugins, however I wouldn't call Flock a 'cheap ripoff'.

I agree. It's a free ripoff. If I want to visit delicious, I'll go to the website. If I want to blog, I'll go to my blog. If I want to use flickr, I'll go to my flickr account. Things just work like that, I have no desire to utilise features of the browser to do those things for me.
