Yahoo as a search engine?

Do you still use yahoo as a search engine after google. I used to use yahoo previously but ever since google entered the scene, i have switched my loyalty to google because of its accurate and perfect search result. I guess that yahoo still have a long way to reach that stage. what do you say?

Never have I had to use any other search engine other than google (unless it's for checking sites backlinks info etc.)...

I have never regularly used Yahoo! search as my go-to search engine: Google has always had that privilege. However, I have used their 'site explorer' and regularly use their search web services for more developer-oriented things.

Yahoo has repositioned themselves years ago from being a search engine to being a content provider. I do go to Yahoo to receive information, I like the way it is presented a lot more than other portals, but I still perform all of my searches via Google.

Well, for me Google is always on the firts position, but it doesn't mean I don't use any other search engines, especially when I have to compare the results or find out more about something

yes you are right but not 100% I think. Mainly I use google and I also use yahoo but that is not as much as like google. But, I think yahoo and Bing is not bad though they are not ecaully give the search result like google.

Yahoo has never been big in the UK, can't say I've ever used it. I started off using ASK then switched to Google after my art teacher suggested it, like a decade ago. :P

Yahoo search has been acquired by Bing as far as I know. Try searching something on it and you'll see "Powered by Bing" text on the bottom of the search results page. You'll also notice that it loads some items from Bing's servers when performing a search. So Yahoo and Bing are pretty much the same now.

I only use Google for all my searches. Never really felt the need of switching to Bing or Yahoo.

I never used yahoo, may be once or twice in my lifetime just to compare results from other search engines. I some how just did not feel comfortable using yahoo after google.

I have never really used Yahoo for personal searches. Only its mail service and the site explorer to check the backlinks. If I need to find out about something, I use google search. In fact I use it from the first day I learned about Internet, that is around 10 years ago, that means quite about the time Dan switched from Ask to Google Time passes so quickly...
