Illegit software or going legit? Open source, the beginning developers godsend

I feel all of your pain.

I guess I like doing graphic design & all but, my first love is videography and video editing. The video industry isn't cheap! Easily 25k to get started well. The software is ridiculously overpriced so I used to pull all the free trial crap, but I finally can say not a single unlicensed product on my computer except for 1 mp3 of Kool and the Gang's "Celebration" for a wedding I was editing. They should make cheaper software.
