Yeah i think it's a good idea, because it would take the workload off you and also helps other people.

I'd be interested, IM me on AIM: chelseafc1290

Or MSN: spawnyhorny@hotmail.com

It helps regardless of forum size, but be sure it is somebody who you know and trust.

Not only will a partner help you with the work aspect, but a partner is a guaranteed active poster...thus helping your posting activity.

That said, I chose to go without a partner for the first 2 weeks of opening my most recent forums...I did this because I didnt have anybody that I knew well enough to bring on board. Just recently, after establishing the forums, I decided to "hire" somebody and it has helped wonders.

All things a partner should want to know and if you are partner shopping all things you should have ready answers for.

Good luck in your endeavor.

OK answears to questions:
In helping me with the board.
It is about coding and design (will get more topics when it gets bigger).
Partner responsibilities are posting on forum and bring in active members.
Benefits are low for now but will get bigger as forum grows.
The partner doesn't have to pay unless he/she wants to(to improve the board).
As much commitment as the partner can.
It is not really a business it is a discusion forum.
I own it/I pay for it.

Glad to see someones still thinking around here.

Partners are great. Share losses, help make choices, work on business, makes less hours for you, more starting capital, etc. However--the biggest deflection for me is--"sharing profit."

Go it alone, you will regret it a few months down the line when your forum is making $100 a day and you only get $50.
