Old  'Pushing' a Domain - What is it?

What do people mean when they say 'free push' ? Does that mean they'll push a Godaddy domain to another Godaddy account? And is it possible to take a GoDaddy acount domain and transfer it to a Namecheap account? I'm kinda new to this stuff, so thanks for the help.

1) Pushing the domain means bsaically that they will transfer the domain to your account on the same website.

2) You can transfer your domain to another domain site is the register allows it. It usually costs a fee that is around the price of registering the domain. For more info on how to do a transfer to namecheap see here.

Pushing a domain means to "move it" from one account to another, at the same registrar. Most registrars will allow you to do this for free. You can transfer a domain to another registrar, however you will have to pay the fee, depwnding on which registrar you are transfering to.
