Guitar benefit show!

Okay, so I just started a band. and we're short on cash. So what I'm thinking is to have a live webshow from like 11pm to 6am or 7am. And through this time we will have a widget by the page where people can donate money. What we will be doing during that time is me, and one other person staying up all night trying to write a song. including lyrics, guitar part, and bass part. To try and get more money we will be allowing people to pay us a certain amount of money to advertise their site or something during the webshow. The amount of money will depend on what times and how many times you will wish for us to advertise your site. We will repeat a description of your site and also the url, and also hold up a sign with the url of the site written. Another way to do this is to sponsor us. Sponsoring us would mean to donate a certain sum of money to the help of running the event ,helping us advertise, or helping us make the design for the site we will be doing it on,etc. . If you sponsor us then we will add your site Logo along with the url on a sign and hang it behind us, we will also advertise it countless times. All this is to help raise money for us to buy amps, equipment, etc. What do you guys think? Think it would be worth a try? Would anyone be interested in advertising or sponsoring?

I really doubt anyone will want to watch you, especially at them times.

It's a good idea, but it just wouldn't work for a new band.

Make it more interesting somehow and promote the event a lot beforehand.
