I couldn't live without my "Pro ASP.NET 2.0 in C# 2005" from Apress.

Hi Im a coder in ASP.net (using vb though :P)

anyways, the best help i found was www.asp.net.. just like how php.net is the best site for learning php, asp.net is the best site for learning asp.net

The basics are easy to consume with the book "Build you own ASP.NET 2.0 Web Site Using C# & VB, 2nd Edition":
http://www.sitepoint.com/books/aspne...3b54f2de8cca55

When you have grasped what that book has to offer, it's also easier to keep going with less detailed instructions.

  Old  Great C# Books

I agree with Salathe, Pro ASP.NET 2.0 in C# 2005 is by far the best reference book around.

I would also recommend: Professional C# 2005 (Wrox Professional Guides)
