2nd, no real reason but it doesn't look like something you see everyday. Its not all straight and boring, it has something different to it. Nice logo, very brandable.

Nixism Web Hosting

Colors flow with the design, if you don't like the design then I guess you wont like the logos

Sometimes I think you over analyze logos. For example does google's logo show what it is and what it does? No, in fact most logos don't. They are just there to develop a brand mark.

Very nice logo's guys, In my opinion the first one is the best...I don't think the diamond stands out enough.

I actually think people don't put enough thought into designing logos. They approach it as if they were simply designing something cool as opposed to its meaning and importance. Too many people minimize what a logo is to a company or a site.

I, for one, agree with derek lapp. But hey, whatever makes the client happy.

I agree with both derek and chaka. However from my experience in designing logos for online clients; I've found that people are much more happy to receive some random thrend whorish logo over something that really shows meaning as their logo. Demand vs ....?

hahahaha are you serious? you'll go far with branding thinking like that.

do you know how much money people dump into branding? they don't pay bills like that just for something that "looks cool" that you design over night.

You're right people dump tons of money into branding, but branding isn't all about the logo. Do you think google or ebay has established it's brand JUST because of the logo?
