why have you worked for web hosting companies that oversell if you're so against overselling?

Because it was money? Because it was a fantastic learning experience that provided free training I could use to further my career later in life?

It doesn't count for too much when you boast about it in the internet world..

So you can cause another problem?

You asked him where he got his sources/statistics from, he told you. 13 years of experience, and stories. So now that he told you, you still don't believe him?

@Jako: As far as I read, he wasn't/isn't boasting, because Soskel asked him where he got his ideas from, he promptly replied with his 13 years of experience in a overselling hosting market. If that isn't enough proof, then I don't know what is.

Obviously there is no pleasing to anyone on TFL...

Also, I don't work for or am I taking this* side, I am just defending his points because he was nice enough to write this long article, and it seems to bother you guys.

I honestly Disagree with overselling, I've been screwed with one, and tried another, and loved it. (Still do)

Siteground is a huge overseller, I had an image hosting site hosted on it, and after about three months, and only like 1/10th of what they offered, they shut me down.

I switched to Servage.net (They trasnfered my site and everything)

And I was with servage for about two years (I actually just stopped hosting with servage last month)

I didnt have an image hosting hosted with servage all two years, I sold it about three months in, but I still kept the servage account, because it was damn good hosting, affordable, and damn good support.

Now I host with a small company ran by a TFL user, and Have yet to find a problem in it...
