i think tf should definitely allow images in the sig, but a small un-animated image-logo. If we think that we are web designers, it is important to see an image too, because based on that we can tell the designing style of that person. So it says a lot about the designer who has this sig. And I don't think the number of colours is important. I would hate to see small UGLY image. I preffer small beautifull ones

Not everyone can make small beautiful ones...and that is when they get annoying.

if the pictures are not too big then they are not that annoying...And who decides what's beautiful? What you hate i might like...and personaly i really like that 'hire me' image-sig. And for that one i can endure other 5 ugly ones

As long as the maximum size is known. It's fine with me.

I think images are kewl... personally I have never been against a little self promotion in a sig... many people past valuable information on Internet forums - for free! I am all for thanking people for their posts by allowing some suttle self-promotion in vB forums. Personally, I have left boards before that wouldn't let me put up a decent avatar, sig or even upload files...

As long as the signatures are properly moderated to make sure everyone is following the signature rules for this site, then why not.

I vote yes. Seems like a good idea, but properely moderated would be nice. Just incase. Make a set of rules, like whats appropriate and whats not. Nice suggestions..
