If I were you, I would probably start your own business. Then, you won't have to declare taxes unless you make a certain amount of money. ($60k in US, I think £70k in UK). It makes it easier.. if you don't want to start a business, it would be in your best interest to talk to a tax consultant to get any info you may need. However, there may be some people here who declare taxes. (Post in the business section a bit down further.. there are even some threads on this subject that may help you)

Na, Like bennet says, in the US it's around 10k for an individual and 16k for a family.

yeah, its much lower 70K. Best option is just to start your own business then later if you start making alot (and turn it into a full time job) start paying up...

Switch to private school, you'll have less idiots in possitions of authority.

Now, state income tax is different, for example NewJersey you don't pay state tax until you hit 20k, whereas in Virginia it is 16k (both for married couples).

So wait. If I make >=$16K in Virginia, I have to report it to the IRS?
What if it was <$16K? When does the income thing reset? Monthly? Yearly?

Im less than 18 years of age.

Whoa, I have no idea where I got the £70k from, I really meant around £5k.. as for $60k, I can't remember where I got that.. but I remember reading it somehwere. (Now that I think of it, it sounds like it should be $6k.)
