Very good specs, I'm not sure how good the price is though, it seems pretty decent.

And yes, I don't like buying from Dell because of all the crappy programs they put on your computer to start out with that you won't ever use. Media Edition is pretty decent though, considering.

Overall, I would buy it.

If I had the money, I would definately buy it. You should go all out when purchasing any computer. Buying this will last you quite awhile

Wow, you get Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 with it!!!

You should be able to get $75 off if you scrap the PC-Cillin and use free AVG instead

It doesn't seem worth the price.

Just because its made by Dell, I will say no. The only good products from them are the monitors, personally. I was browsing through some cheaper laptops for myself and I thought this was ok:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834227010

Operating System: Windows Media Center 2005
Processor: Intel Core Duo T2500 (2.0GHz)
Screen Size: 17" Widescreen
Memory: 1GB DDR2

For worse spec in my opinion on this laptop is the ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 video card. I never liked ATI but this isnt a gaming laptop either. This should work fine for web developement.
