Old  Current times: code for Wordpress or code for...normal use? ^_^

It's probably been asked before but this is based on todays sales. I'm almost ready to start coding some templates I've been finalizing. I'm just unsure wether to sell them as the usual coded xhtml/css template, or to code them as Wordpress themes. Wp seems pretty popular in the marketplace these days so I'm inclined to go in that direction.

Any views appreciated. I'm sure this is a debatable topic and I'm expecting no clear answer! So why even ask... lol I don't know. We'll see

EDIT: I have a really funny feeling I've missed a recent topic about this. Forgive me if I have!

Peace, Lance

Well if you code it into xHTML / css it would then be quite easy to integrate into WP..

You could offer both!

Indeed it would be easy But I'm thinking of the buyers that don't want to are unable to modify wp themes. Just want to install and get started.

I guess offering both is an option. Hmm...

Peace, Lance

Yeah Lance. I've told you that I code my themes in Static HTML and CSS first. I find it easier to integrate into Wordpress that way. If you did lit like that, it wouldn't be much of a hassle to list both of them.

I would offer WP, not everyone knows how to update the (X)HTML for posts on static pages thats why they look for content managment such as WP etc.

I'd offer wordpress as Wordpress is more interactive for people who're new to the internet. That way, more people would buy your templates.
