The money will be given to St. Judes Hospital, as a donation from everyone that contributes at The MacBook Project.

Well, to be honest, Im not. I may place some ads on there later on. However, I may not.

Yeah, I like the idea but the fact that you don't openly profit from it leads to speculation that the money won't in fact get donated, but will get absorbed for overhead costs. However I have no reason to doubt your credibility other than that, so all the power to you and good luck.

Hey thanks man! I understand the concern. Truely, I do. I will be adding ads on there for some personal money. I don't expect alot from it, however if I do turn out with alot I will be using some of it to contribute on the project some more. I really want people to be satisfied. I would love to see this go for several rounds.
I sure hope it does!
