  Old  Zedtu.com - Launched & Taking Clients

Hello!

I'm here to announce the semi-official launch of the new version 2 of Zedtu's site. Along with this we're taking on clients so we can build up out portfolio as at the moment it's empty. I've decided if a project is "interesting" enough I personally will do the design and coding of the front end for free. However if you require a system then it's up to Caleb what the price will be. We're also taking any scripts people wish for public use and displaying them on site. The script is displayed in .zip format with a link to either your website or email so people can see who is the creator.

So check it out and contact us about anything, we always try to reply the same day

www.zedtu.com

Please be aware we're still experiencing some simple issues with sizing between browsers, this is expected to be corrected soon!

Thanks,

Greg Cooper (feDeveloper)

Not nice of you to steal JS from coda.

Please do not assume I stole code from Panic. It's a script which is free online which does a similar output as Panic's.

I made mine from a tutorial which can be found here;

http://blog.codefidelity.com/?p=17

I've even mentioned Panic at the bottom of the site even though I'm not using theirs. So I don't see how I've stolen their javascript.

It's not stolen, his copy is open source.

Liar.... From the site you just linked to.

*** Please Note: Code contained in the javascript file in the example was taken directly from Panic.com’s javascript library. This code is (C) 2007 Panic, Inc. ***

Don't be stupid.

Caleb from coda says

I’m glad we could be of inspiration — but I’m a little bit bummed out that you took the time to remove our copyright information from the Javascript you’re redistributing.

First of all it's Cabel from Panic, not Caleb.

Since I took it from the site I linked to it therefore means I didn't steal it. The person who released that script now has the permission from Panic. So therefore it's not stolen as I wouldn't do such as thing. You've only quoted the first comment from Cabel to make out that I'm some bad guy. If you have nothing positive or constructive to say please leave my thread. The script is free to use and isn't stolen in anyway.

I didn't quote the first comment from 'cabel' I quoted the ONLY comment from cabel.

Kids today. Such complete stupidity and self entitlement. Good luck with your 'Web Development'. Not like you need it, you can steal code and follow tutorials!

ROFL.

...

I have done nothing to offend you and I haven't even stolen code. I have the right to use a tutorial which has been posted to the public. As I only code in xHTML and CSS, I myself work in design only. So you're just immature and acting like a small child yourself. You can't call someone a kid when you, yourself are acting like one.

Stealing code is highly offensive. Using code someone else rippsed doesn't make you any less guilty. Especially when you first claimed it was only a 'similar script'.

It's a script which is free online which does a similar output as Panic's.
and are now trying to say it's ok that you are using panics code because someone else used it in a tutorial... so which is it? Similar code or the same code?? If its similar how come it's line by line identical except for the removed copyright? If it's the same, how do you justify using someone elses code?

Oh that's right, it was in a tutorial so it's ok.

Pffft.
