Photoshop question...
What is the best image size to start with for a PSD when you are going to convert it later to html, css, etc.... Either using pixels or inches, thanks.....
This may be an elementary question, but your help is appreciated......

In theory any size, but as a general rule anything above 800 PX wide
I usualy start of with a canvas of 1200 PX by 1600 px and then crop to shorten once the desing is complete (if needed)
Try and keep you design within 1000x1000Px it's best to have a large dimension doccument though so you can work on the background, and not have a really cramped working area.
(hope I explained myself ok, if you need any more help feel free to ask)

It also depends on what your designing, like if your making a website, most designers will build their site around 1024x768 a few choose 1280x720.

Check out http://960.gs you should design with a 960 grid in mind 960 being the max width of your web design I find starting at 1000x1500 a good starting point.
and Im pretty sure this does not belong under the photography section
