  Old  vBulletin Help..

Hey Guys

Right, well, I know most of the things about vBulletin that I will need to know, but there are some things that are still puzzling me, there all on this skin: techno.freshcoders.com/movieforums.gif.

1) How do I make it so that the two next to each other are the same color? I tried to move it around before but I lost the white line that goes through the middle.

2) How do I make the table border change like that, with white on the inside and the bluey colour on the outside?

Thanks for all your help.

Techno - i'm not 100% sure what you mean with your first question but I think you are referring to the alt1 and alt2 columns (the areas with the forum icon, forum title, posts, threads & last post info). If this is the case, just go to the css area of the skin in the admincp and change the background colour of alt1 or alt2 to the same colour.

The border - its basically a div tag with the following css settings:

background: #FFF;
border: 1px solid #bluecolourhexhere;

Ok, well you haven't really understood either of my questions. What i mean was, I want to move a td class=alt1 next to another td class=alt1 but when i did it, the line dissapeared. Also I need to change the border to do what I want it to. Like here at TF, the color inbetween the td's are a greyey but the outside is black, if i did this how you suggested it i would get a 2px border 1px black and 1px grey.

thats what he said, if you want the same colors on both alternative classes then just change them to the same, else you just change the specific class on the td, and if you want a 3'rd class you have to do it yourself...

yeah, just continue using both alt1 and alt2 but just change the background colour for 1 of those classes so they have the same bg.

What are you moving? You don't need to move anything!! Just need to change the background colour in the css for either alt1 or alt2....

vB default skin has the last post box before the threads/posts... The skin he showed has it after... I think he wants to move the last post box.
