Magazine printing

Hi im wondering if anyone can help me.

I have to produce an essay 3500 words on the printing process of a magazine from start to finish.

topics to be included:
the historical origins of printing
special finishes and how they are achieved
substrates and the different methods required when printing on these.

the different printing methods from the early black ink throught to direct to plate digital methods.

Or if anyone has any links to good information sites i will be VERY happy.
i need to get it written tonight! :S Confused Confused Confused Confused iv looked on various sites but they seem really complex and complicated to understand, im not good at essays so worrying loads.
