Hey

Alright, i'm doing my christmas re-design and I have made a snow flash file which I want to overlap the site content, my site is all CSS so I thought I would use z-index command, apparently it doesn't work. The site is here the CSS sheet is here your help is greatly appreciated!

... why?

Please, please do not do that. Having snow floating down the screen is bad enough, but overlaying a flash file over the whole site?!

Put the snow's z-index to 100 and the contents to 200. I like large numbers for z-index's just incase.

I got it figured out, thanks anyways. Johnny, I changed the snow so it goes underneath the content so you only see it on the top lefthand side.

You should have used JS+DHTML in order to do this, it would be a lot less to load and maybe a lighter. You should look at dynamic drive.

To put HTML content on top of Flash you need to add an extra parameter to your object tag:

wmode="transparent"
