Little css help wanted

Can anyone tell me what exactly "text-align: justify;" does?

hjalmar is an unknown quantity at this point

It spans the text all the way for the space given to it pretty much, like in a newspaper where the text takes upp all the space in that block/area.

Count on some weird spacing between the words.
