  Old  Can a Company create account on freelancing sites?

Hi have a question can a Company which provides some sort of services like research,reporting,data collection etc etc create a profile on freelancing sites like Odesk,freelancer,eelance and BID for the projects so that it earns by completing its clients work.

Any suggestion will be appreaciated

Yes, but it probably puts you at a disadvantage, as most people who post jobs in such places are looking for the least expensive bid, presented by the person who will cause them the least amount of trouble.

While it may seem counterintuitive I think the perception that you're a "real" business and not a moonlighter or casual freelancer may work against you. You may think "valuable competence and expertise," while the potential client thinks "difficult to manage."

This is probably not true for all sectors but I suspect that it may be for the research and data-reporting you mention.

I'm pretty sure they can, and they will tagged in a specific color and user title that show that it is a company or a brand.
