  Old  New camera..

I was wondering if I should invest in a camera but I know little about cameras.. what's good brands?
What I wanna take photos off is a little of everything I guess. Landscapes, very close close-ups and so on.

Help?

Well, you'd probably want to look at Nikon or Canon as they're front runners in the biz. But I have had awesome experience with Pentax point and shoot cameras. Bought my parents one for christmas a year or so ago and it gave awesome shots.

What's your budget/price range?

It's a little difficult to say but I'm guessing around 100 to 200 USD.. hmm.

For that money you will need to get a point and shoot. Like Jeff said, Nikon or Canon are the way to go. I have a Canon Rebel XT and it works really well for me.
