I don't think members will do a lot of commerce activity on a mobile phone so it will be a lot of effort for little in return. Members like to use their own tools on their computers where they can put information together - something that is still very challenging to do via mobiles.

That's true, but in a sense of not just using it directly to post new threads, but in order to keep track of their "For Sales" and other "Services Offered" threads.

I see your point here and I agree with you, but I imagined something similar to an eBay auctions app. Without the modifications to this forum script and using the standard "post and buy" method, it wouldn't be applicable though, so I would discard this idea.

Just a spark in creativity though to get the juices flowing.
