I agree with you there Julian. I was just saying when dealing with objects other than text, EM is too large to be exact.

Bennett, that's arguably not the case. In fact the em unit can theoretically be used in sub-pixel circumstances assuming that 1em is less than 10 pixels and you're only using the ems to one decimal place. Not much use for screen-work though, but it is still possible and counters your "EM is too large to be exact" statement.

Allright. However when you get into sub vaules, some older clients can't support them.
